An exciting, innovative and objective competition in a NEW BATTLE STYLE FORMAT
Enjoy this brand new concept and feel the excitement, energy and suspense as opponents and dances are chosen by random selection, before couples take to the floor and go head to head in a Battle Style Dance Off.

£1500 PRIZE FUND
1. There are no syllabus or dress restrictions for either the Children’s or the Adult’s Battle of the Ballroom Competitions. The decision regarding choregraphy and costumes is yours. Please bear in mind that there is a technical judge and young dancers should be dressed appropriately for their age. If in doubt, please contact us beforehand or bring an alternative costume.
2. Couples who have a relationship or strong connection with the judges, officials or organisers of BofB will not be permitted to take part in BofB.
3. The BofB is open to all.
4. To enter the Juvenile qualifier, both members of the partnership must be 11 years or under on this day.
To enter the Junior qualifier both members of the partnership must be 12 -15 years or younger on this day. (A younger dancer may dance in this event to accomodate a partnership.
To enter the U35 qualifier both members of the partnership must be 16 - 34 years on this day. (An older dancer may dance as an U35 to accomodate a partnership.
To enter the O35 qualifier both members of the partnership must be 35 years or older on this day

5. All decisions by BofB organisers are final.
*If you will be attending the Ipswich Festival with an invited school, you will need to purchase your tickets from your teacher as usual. These will cover all competitions including the Battle of the Ballroom and your teacher will enter you in the usual way for all events. If you have any questions, please speak to your teacher.
*If you do not belong to an invited school, please use the link below to enter and purchase your tickets for the Battle of the Ballroom event. Once your entry has been received a running order and further details will be emailed to you in due course.
